Darius Kasparitas
Darius Kasparaitis is a former professional hockey defenseman best known for his fearless, hard-hitting style and relentless competitiveness. Born on October 16, 1972, in Elektrėnai, Lithuania, he left home at a young age to pursue elite hockey opportunities in Russia, where he developed into one of the most physical defensemen of his era. He was selected fifth overall by the New York Islanders in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft and went on to play 15 seasons in the NHL.
Throughout his career, Kasparaitis played for the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, Colorado Avalanche, and New York Rangers. While he was never known for offensive production, his physical play, shot blocking, and ability to frustrate opposing stars made him one of the league’s most respected shutdown defensemen. Over 863 NHL games, he recorded 27 goals, 136 assists, and accumulated nearly 1,400 penalty minutes.
Internationally, Kasparaitis enjoyed tremendous success. He won Olympic gold with the Unified Team in 1992, silver with Russia in 1998, and bronze in 2002. His 28 Olympic games played were a record among Russian hockey players for many years. He was inducted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 2016.
Following his playing career, Kasparaitis remained active in hockey through coaching and mentoring while also pursuing business ventures in Florida. Known by fans as a player opponents hated to face but teammates loved to have, he remains one of the most memorable physical defensemen of the modern NHL era.

Mike Moore
Mike Moore is a Canadian former professional hockey defenseman whose career is defined by perseverance, leadership, and a strong defensive presence. Born on December 12, 1984, in Calgary, Alberta, Moore developed his game through the Canadian junior ranks before playing collegiate hockey at Princeton University. During his senior season, he captained Princeton to an ECAC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance while earning recognition as one of the top defensemen in college hockey. His standout play led to a professional contract with the San Jose Sharks organization in 2008.
Although undrafted, Moore quickly established himself as a reliable professional defenseman with the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League. Known for his physical play, leadership qualities, and defensive awareness, he served as a captain at multiple levels and became a respected presence in the locker room. In 2010, he achieved his NHL dream when he debuted with San Jose, appearing in six games and scoring his first NHL goal against the Colorado Avalanche.
Following his time with San Jose, Moore continued his professional career within the organizations of the Nashville Predators, Boston Bruins, and Washington Capitals, primarily competing in the AHL. After helping the Hershey Bears reach the Calder Cup Finals in 2016, he chose to continue his career in Europe.
Moore signed with the Fischtown Pinguins of Germany's Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), where he became a key veteran defenseman. Over multiple seasons in Germany, he contributed leadership, toughness, and experience while helping establish the club as a competitive DEL team. Moore's career serves as an example of determination and professionalism, demonstrating how an undrafted player can build a successful career through hard work, resilience, and a commitment to team success at every level of the game.

Matt Bertani
Matt Bertani is a highly accomplished hockey coach and player development specialist with more than 13 years of professional coaching experience spanning the NHL, AHL, ECHL, collegiate, and international levels. Renowned for his expertise in player development, skating instruction, and skill enhancement, Matt has dedicated his career to helping athletes maximize their potential and achieve success at the highest levels of the game.
Matt spent 10 years with the New York Islanders organization, serving as both an assistant coach and video coach with the NHL club and its AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Prior to joining the Islanders, he spent three seasons as an assistant coach with the Johnstown Chiefs, helping develop professional players and preparing them for advancement to higher levels.
At the collegiate level, Matt served as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Penn State University, where he played a key role in recruiting, player development, and program success. Internationally, he has been a member of the coaching staff for the South Korea Men's National Ice Hockey Team at both the men's and junior levels. In 2020, he helped guide South Korea's World Junior team to a gold medal and promotion to Group 1A competition.
A Master Level USA Hockey Coach and Coaching Education Program instructor, Matt is also widely recognized as an expert in video analysis, systems coaching, and player development. His extensive experience across every level of hockey makes him one of the game's most respected and accomplished development coaches.

Dylan Carabia
Dylan Carabia is a professional hockey player whose journey reflects dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to continuous development. A product of the local hockey community, Dylan began his playing career at the Space Coast Iceplex, where he developed the foundational skills and passion for the game that would propel him to higher levels of competition. His early success led him to pursue junior hockey opportunities in Walpole, Massachusetts, allowing him to compete against elite talent while further refining his game.
Following his junior career, Dylan continued his hockey journey at Salve Regina University, where he played NCAA Division III hockey from 2017 to 2021. During his collegiate career, he established himself as a reliable and hardworking player, contributing both on and off the ice while balancing the demands of academics and athletics. His time at Salve Regina helped prepare him for the challenges of professional hockey and provided valuable experience competing at a high level.
After graduating, Dylan began his professional career with the Pensacola Ice Flyers, where he quickly adapted to the speed and physicality of the professional game. His strong work ethic and consistent performance earned him an opportunity to advance to the ECHL, joining the Atlanta Gladiators. Since arriving in Atlanta, Dylan has spent four seasons with the organization from 2022 through 2026, establishing himself as a dependable professional and respected teammate.
From his beginnings at the Space Coast Iceplex to a successful professional career, Dylan's path serves as an inspiration to young players, demonstrating that dedication, persistence, and a commitment to improvement can create opportunities to compete at the highest levels of the game.
