About the coaching staff
Stefan Tomovic
Stefan Tomovic grew up playing hockey in Central Minnesota, where he competed at the varsity level for five years. Following high school, he attended the University of North Dakota, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Space Studies.

In January 2020, Stefan relocated to Florida to pursue his lifelong goal of working at NASA. He currently serves as the Head Coach for the 16U-A Space Coast Rockets and has been a dedicated member of the organization for the past two years. In addition, he coached the 10U Chupacabras during the spring of 2025.

Stefan’s vision for the academy extends beyond athletic performance. His goal is to cultivate not only high-caliber hockey players but also well-rounded individuals equipped with the mindset, discipline, and character to excel both on and off the ice.
